I need a engine compartment diagram

If it has an electrical wire attached, it is an oxygen sensor. The egr valve is not on the exhaust, but an exhaust tube, a steel line, does run from the exhaust to the egr valve, which would be mounted on the intake manifold.

Just wonderng about the cat convertor for my 98 honda civic b/c the diagram at autozone looks like it is located in a different place that where i think it is

On the 1998 Honda Civic with the D16Y5 and D16Y7 engines, the Catalytic Converter is part of the Exhaust Manifold. If you have the D16Y8 engine, the Catalytic Converter is separate from the Exhaust Manifold, and is directly between the 1st and 2nd Oxygen Sensors.

Here is a diagram of the D16Y5 and D16Y7 Exhaust Manifold and Catalytic Converter: http://www.4shared.com/document/zvR9UsXJ/1998_Honda_Civic_D16Y5_D16Y7_C.html

I need a diagram showing the location of the o2 sensors on a 2001 chevrolet impala

Why would you need a diagram?

You simply need to educate yourself

O2 Sensors have been on vehicles over 25 years, and in the same place

Sensor 1--in exhaust pipe before converter or in converter
Sensor 2 in outlet of converter

An O2 Sensor Code---Does Not mean replace it
