When i open my door and the light are still on or the key is in there is no alarm sound anymore. When i try to lock the door it only lock that door and not the rest like efore. If i try to lock the passenger door it will lock but a the key is turned back to take it out the door will unlock. Also on the radio dash a picture will come on when the doors are open, but when i open the driver side door it doesn't show any thing but the others will. The dash smybol for a door is open doesn't come on when i open the driver's door. Can this be a problem with the door sensor or a fuse? I have checked the fuses and all are good. Thisis for a 2002 Citroen Xsara 2.0 Hdi Diseal.

The Alarm on my Mercedes ML320 sounded every night, then it started doing it more often, Showed it to the dealer he says it's the 'Tow Sensor', that needs to be repaced. $700, down the drain. I have already started hating this car, it eats $500-600, every 6 months...
SOURCE: 02 VW Jetta locks, remote, lights, windows stopped working
Same problem with an '03 Golf--remote entry, power windows, and interior lights stopped working. This was easily fixed by replacing fuse #14, (10 amp), located in the driver's side fuse block.

Check the fob battery because if the battery has gone then you can't immobilise the car immobiliser which in turn doesn't let you start the engine however it cranking. open the bonnet and remove the clips of car battery for a good 15-20 minutes and put them back and check your remote key and try to start your car. If nothing happens then let your car diagnosed by a experienced mechanic who is able to read out the ecu codes.
