First we lost the daytime driving lights. Then after a week or so, the warning beeper would go continuous but only after 10kph. Then tonight, the headlights started to flicker off and then back on and we could hear a relay clicking under the dash. It does it with either the headlights or park lights on. I have got it down to the control module or headlight switch. A little guidance would help me from not spending a lot of money to fix this. Any help is really appreciated.

The daytime running light module is no good.
it is grounding through other common circuits, the security alarm, and the dome lights which come on when you unlock it.

How do I disable rear beepers on dihatsu charade, pleas?

Usually you can locate the actual beeper under the dash and disconnect it, but then you loose all beeper warnings. Other way is to find the wires running to the sensors in the back bumper and cut them, taping the ends. This is there for your safety. You sure you want to do this? (Yeah, I know, they drive me crazy too)

Reduced engine power warming came on yesterday, after driving in extreme cold temps, idled rough and the. started back up fine after sitting a few minutes. Drive today, in cold temps again, and drove...

Well...my ball park guess on this is just a tune up. The engine light is usually showing a misfire. If the plugs are bad then the cylinder is not igniting the fuel and it is flooding out. With what is here this makes sense to me. Let me know what it does turn out to be.

My 2002 tribute that suddenly lost power today. What could cause this?

batteries have no guaranteed life so it could be a battery
I would consider the problem more likely to be a loose battery terminal, faulty alternator , drive belt condition or tension and a problem voltage regulator
all of the above can be checked and tested by an accredited auto electrician

My truck is actually a '95 C1500 but I understand that they were the same model from 88-98. I have 2 problems - both electrical. On a recent trip, I lost both low beam headlights at the same time. ...

There could be a fuse for each low beam light either under the hood or under the dash. If not, then prob both low beams are bad.

If you have daytime run lights, the following may be of help.

There is a daytime running light module that controls both low beams and the daytime running lights. The low beam bulbs may be OK. The high beams will work fine as they are not controlled through the module.

It may be possible to disable the daytime run lights by cutting the yellow wire going into the module and then connecting it to ground. Tape off the other end.

This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

ok you said you have replace the bulbs, i believe you. your problem is still the bulbs, use type HS 905, both bulbs must be the same make and model, or else one will have the same problem your having. one of the two headlamp bulbs has blown, thats why the daytime running lamp is flashing.
