When the seat is adjusted to the stop it can destroy the fuse, though sometimes it is nothing more than the supply wiring plug being pulled from it's mating part. Most electric seats can be adjusted manually if the power fails. The vehicle owner's handbook should tell you how.

I suggest you wind it away from the stop before checking the fuses and replacing as necessary. If you find nothing or that doesn't work further investigation will be needed.

under the drivers seat is the seat control module

Try this remove the ckt breaker for the power seats the ckt breaker is located in the fuse box inside down by the drivers left foot. leave breaker out for about 10 seconds then reinstall it and see if the seat starts moving. If it does there is a reprogram for this and needs to be done by a dealer or someone who has access to be able to reprogram your vech.
several things could cause your heated seats to not work. If the seat and heated seat seat stopped at the same time could be the reprogram could fix it. If the heated seat quit working at a differant time it could be the seat heater element. get a schematic of the heated seat and ohm the wires for the element. If either element tests open then the element will need to be replaced. You might as well replace both of them at the same time since the seat covers have to come off to replace the seat heaters.(back and bottom ) If one element is bad then both heaters quit working.

check your fuses. The circuit may have been overloaded by the window motor.

Left side of the dash, to the right of the IP fuse block. Its a 25 amp circuit breaker, an aluminum cased breaker. CHECK FOR POWER ON THE SEAT SWITCH "A" TERMINAL AND GROUND ON THE "D" TERMINAL. IF YOU HAVE POWER AND GROUND THE SWITCH IS BAD.

both my power seats are not working at all ..it first started with driver seat , to make seat move forward and back tilting the recliner was working then it went out ..not working either..then after a month later my pasenger seat stopped working as well... what might be the issue..please reply

check the wires behind the seat control on the side if the seat, sometimes the wires will get pinched and short to ground

I have a 1995 Jimmy and the power seats didn't work. I put my own power wire with a fuse between the seat and the live wire under dash. It works fine.
