If you are talking about the mirror assembly, you have to remove the door panel to replace the mirror. The mirror is held on by 11mm nuts.

Have you changed your oil? Rotella 15W-40. These engines really don't like old oil. It becomes too thick for the injection pump to work correctly. Another possibility is a bad cam sensor on the front of the motor. Most engines call this the crank sensor but on this engine you have to look it up as a cam sensor.

SOURCE: how do i remove rear seat in 2004 ford f-150

1st time might take a bit ( I spent ~ 40 min total, taking pictures )

This is from the service manual :

Picture showing where the steps are at :

These are from removing my rear seat in my '06

This is the angle you are shooting for through the opening

Once you have the seat back out, zip tie the clips back, so it can be removed easier the next time
THis is the paddle that you are releasing with the screw driver, and what you would zip tie back

To raise the seat, if you do not have something planned, might want to look at the LMI welding seat riser set. Nice solid metal brackets pick the rear seat bottom up 2.5" and brings the front forward a bit ( make passenger comfort nicer in my opinion with a deeper & taller seat ).

The front end shakes bad at 40 miles per hour on my 1993 ford f-350 crew cab 4x4

You may need your steering realigned, also, make sure you have your wheels bolted on straight. If those clear, get your spindles checked, along with your shocks.

965 Ford Mustang 2+2 fastback. I noticed a hose hanging rear

The hose is likely the differential vent hose. If you get under there and take a look around the rear end you will likely see where it was originally secured.

2002 ford Ranger 3.0 v6 (auto) rear end noise when accelerating on curves.

Remove the drums and check your rear brakes. If okay, you may try testing a couple different tires in the rear. Belts separating and flat spots show worse at higher speeds.
It could be bearings if truck is used alot while loaded. Remember 1/4 ton is only 500lbs. High miles, hard driving, or if it was wrecked in rear could all cause these smptoms.
