That code should be left rear(Drivers side rear) wheel speed sensor short to ground, Check to see if wiring has worn thru and is contacting metal some place. GM had problems with water getting into wiring harnesses in rear causing shorts.
THAT CODE IS FOR THE LOCK UP TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH ,NOT WORKING /MALFUNCTION DUE TO SOLENOID PROBLEM OR CONVERTOR INTERNAL TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. SEALS, INPUT SHAFT,O'RINGS, VALVEBODY ISSUES .MOST LIKELY NOT A SIMPLE FIX.
THIS IS SOMETHING THAT AN EXPERIENCED TECH NEEDS TO CHECK OUT .
Yes, but unless you fix it, they are just going to keep coming on. How does a transmission stall? If you hold the OFF and WARMER buttons down it should give you codes. then using the up/ down buttons it will ask if you want to clear codes, go up and it will clear codes.
I had the same problem in my 99 Deville. None of the GM dealerships could fix it. It's a problem in the computer and only a Cadillac dealer can fix it. I figure it's a "give your dealership money" code. Don't remember the price, but it was around a couple hundred at the most.
