What is the transmission pan bolts torque setting for a 2001 toyota tacoma V6 prerunner?

well if you looked up what transmission is there.
and google that or get the service manual you'd know. it
2wd or 4wd
4SPEED OR 5?
what engine is the, big engine mate to big tranny. and not the same.

• 2.4 L 2RZ-FE I4
• 2.7 L 3RZ-FE I4
• 3.4 L 5VZ-FE V6

AND SOME 4.0l
the box is 4speed OR 5.? NOT TOLD.
i guess a A340E or A750E/F ? YES BOTH WERE USED,BY AISIN.

Could be your injectors need cleaning.

Is it the engine vibrating or the car? If its the car itself it sounds like u need to have the tires checked & balanced.

Sounds like the reverse sprag is gone in the transmission time for a rebuild or new

2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, 3.4L, 4 door, 2WD, automatic transmission overdrive problem. It's not shifting to overdrive, overdrive button on shifter does not turn light on - on dash. Mileage is 115,xxx.

Oil filter on a 2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner with 6 cylinder IS a screw on filter located on the drivers side front of the engine (just beneath the alternator).

Can't recall the size but, you need a socket with extension to get to the bolts holding the skid pan then, wiggle/lift it from it's hooks. Then, you can either cuss, cuss, cuss while removing the old and installing the new OR, jack the drivers side up 4 to 6 inches ( gives you a bit more wiggle room and keeps you from scraping your elbow to the bone on whatever surface you're working on).

Even then, be ready for a good cussing bout because there still isn't much room.

YOU ADJUST POWER STEERING BELT TENSION BY LOOSEN THE LOCKBOLT AND ADJUSTING BOLT TO IDLER PULLEY.

Disconnect the battery, then crawl under the truck and locate the starter, remove the plug going to the solenoid (small brown lead w plastic clip) . then the power wire that goes from the battery to the main starter terminal (12 mm nut) locate the 2 starter bolts 14 mm and unbolt the starter and remove. install in reverse order. ON the 4 wheel drives you may need to remove the skid plates over the bottom of the engine to access the starter.

assuming it is v/6 if my memory serves me correctly you have to remove the r/f wheel and remove it through the wheelwell. You will have to remove the transmission dipstick and tube held by a 12mm bolt on side of head (if A.T.M.) there are one or two bolts holding the brakeline to the frame, remove the bolts so you can move the lines out of the way, they are pretty flexible to move, just don't crush or kink. not gonna lie, the job is a bit of a pain, but is doable. good luck.
