SOURCE: 94 Toyota Camry 2.2 liter Start problem

Rule 1 ....WD40 is non-flammable. It used to be an effective starter spray for diesels. Unfortunately it now contains a fire retardant to prevent accidents....so the rev you were looking for wont arrive.
It does work well with easy-start/ether though.
I suspect you found a vacuum leak and sucked WD40 into the intake....If u think u did you'll need to clean your plugs.
A strobe lamp to check the spark would be a good idea. Also if a lil squirt (VERY LITTLE) of easy start doesnt produce at least a backfire, your spark is out.

My Toyota tercell, 1997 has started to shake pretty bad while idling, it stops some when the AC kicks in but shortly after starts to shake again. Runs fine while driving.

Sounds like you may have a bad motor mount. While driving and under a torque situation you wont notice it as much, but at idle you will as it has extra room to move.

I have a 1993 Toyota Tercel, it's burning twice as much gas as normal and it has a bad periodic vibration. What could be the problem and what can I do to fix it?

I'm not 100% however you might want to check your o2 sensor had it happen in one of the previous vehicles I owned.

Toyota Tercel 1998. Clutch is "slipping", started a few days ago.

replace the clutch sooner then later,, if you wait to long there is a chance that you could do damage to the pressure plate and it will cost more for the repair.

My 1987 Toyota Tercel will not run. It will start, but wont stay crunk unless im giving it gas. I check for vacuum leaks and no sucess.?

if you have a carburator then you have a blocked idle jet, simple job unscrew **** dirt out clean jet hole through, replace, (change or fit fuel filter to prevent it happening again. )
to tune is simple replace jet start motor and warm up . when at operating temp turn jet out and then in till motor runs rough then screw back out til motor smooth out , and runs sweet, if it cuts out when slowing car down (while driving) screw need to come out a slight bit more

1989 Toyota Tercel 5 speed stick trouble starting

sounds like your clutch safety switch, the switch that keeps the vehicle from starting unless clutch pedal is depressed, is not working.. the correct thing to do would be to buy a new one.. on the other hand cutting the wires and wiring them together will work just fine.. but keep in mind the vehicle will then start in gear with out pushing in the clutch pedal so use extra precaution when starting if you decide to take this route.. hope i could help

Well it was'nt the timing belt! Turns out it's all in the fuel pump. If i turn the ignition to the on position for about 5 to 10 seconds before starting, it cranks right up.
