2005 merc grand marquis Headlights keep blowing a fuse

Does your Grand Marquis have head lamps with auto lamps ? Which fuse keeps blowing ? Could be a shorted LCM - lighting control module ?

Lighting Control Module (LCM)
The LCM eliminates the electronic interference and heat associated with the thermoelectric devices used previously. The LCM is a microprocessor-based module that controls several vehicle subsystems. It responds to electrical input signals from various switches, sensors, and external modules..

There is no reaction when turning the key to start the car

Turn key to On.
Turn on headlights manually... Do they come on?
Are there any lights on the dash?
If yes to these, battery is possibly not the sole problem.
Check for good, tight and clean connections at battery terminal posts!
If yes to above, continue on & get a helper... Turn key past on, to Start position.
Do you hear a click sound at time key is turned to Start?
If yes, then ignition switch is not problem, starter relay is getting power, and is now sending power to starter, but starter is not working.
Pic any No's... Then look there.
Good luck.

Where is fuse box location for 2005 focus

You can find the owners manual for your 2005 Focus online by googling 2005 Focus Owners manual. On page 127 under Roadside Emergencies it describes the fuse panel under the dash by the brake pedal. There is a second panel, called the Power Distribution Box under the hood in the engine compartment. The manual describes the location of each fuse and relay. Good luck!

Cigarette lighter not working, already changed fuse

Look in your manual for the Power Distribution Box reference in Roadside Emergencies. It should be located under the hood on the driver's side. My 2002 Explorer has two power points on the center console and the 20A fuses in the Power Distribution Box for them are number 7 and number 9. They cost $3.99 each at AutoZone. The cigar lighter fuse under the dash is unrelated.

Sliding power doors will not open

Just had the same problem with my '05 van. I put the Master Switch in the off position. I pulled fuse #7 on the driver side sub panel, located just above the engine hood release. I then disconnected the neg. terminal on the battery. I manually opened the pass. side slider and closed it.

I reconnected the battery and replaced fuse #7. I put the master door switch in the on position. I activated the auto door switch, and it worked.

Where is the fuse box in 2005 ford focus

The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by
the brake pedal. Remove the CD stowage box to access the fuses.
To remove a fuse, use the fuse puller tool provided on the power
distribution box cover located in the engine compartment.

Check fuse 47, it is a 20 Amp
