Hey deanfuller,
Ok, ive seen this alot with this year s-type, the only problem is its always something different.

What i would do first is warm the car up, NOT TO HOT, but warm it up and start feeling hoses. Turn your heat on full blast and let the car idle. When the car is warm all your coolant hoses should be warm, check the top and bottom radiator hoses the hoses before and after the thermostat.

I mean it coolant be coolant gumming up, radiator plugged, bad thermostat, bad or plugged heater core, bad fluid valve just a ton of stuff soo its hard to say one.

But after you checking the hoses, this is what i think it is, this is just a educated guess. I think its your fluid valve not opening. This valve is located on the passenger side of the radiator all the way on the bottom. There are i think either 2 or 3 small hoses coming to and from it. Now this valve is electronically controlled so you have to get a multi meter and make sure it is getting voltage at the 2 pin connector. If it is, then you can replaced the valve.

more than likely your losing cold water from your water system, make sure your water pump is up to scratch...sounds strange, but you need cold water for heat through your air conditioning...

Cold air coming from passager glove compartment making the front ducts blow out warm not hot

There could be cold air coming in because the air vent is not closing properly when it is suppose to close.

Heater core is working properly but car will not blow hot air only cold air i am thinking the flapper that controls hot \ cold is stuck in the cold air position
