Location of the starter on the engine

NO ENGINE TOLD AT ALL. OF 3., 2.2L, 3.1 OR 3.3L???????

BATTERY NOT DEAD OR WEAK. IS FIRST
FUSE NOT BLOWN (ALL)
KEY-SWITCH GOOD
PRNDL SWITCH DEAD IN PARK AND OR NEUTRAL
SHIFT TO NEUTRAL AND CRANK, AS THE USERS GUIDE TOLD YOU.

USE A VOLTMETER TO FIND THE POINT IF FAILURE
FIRST IS HEAD LAMPS MUST WORK. SEE WHY
FUSE LINK C BLOW KILLS IT ALL DEAD.
BATTERY DEAD WEAK LAMPS GLOW DIM
THEN KEYSWITCH TESTS GOOD.
THEN PRNDL BAD (P AND N BOTH DEAD)
THE STARTER CAN BE HOT WIRED KEY OFF.
BATTERY 2 CABLES 4 LUGS NOT LOOSE OR RUSTY .

2 MAN TEST, USING VOLT METER CRANKING
FINDS IT FAST. AND EASY

It is located on the starter motor.

this schematic shows the starter removal but clearly shows the oil filter to the left at the front of the engine , hope this helps

The solenoids are located inside the body of the transmission.

For 1995 Buick Century the starter is located in the front of the engine near the transmission bell housing.

To remove, disconnect the battery negative, mark and note where the different wires go on the starter terminals, remove the wiring from the starter, then remove 2 x 14mm bolts that hold the stater in place, slide the starter out an down, reverse to install.

Get the codes pulled. The check engine soon light means there is a issue that needs to be addressed. Once you have the codes pulled you can use them to diagnose and locate the issue.

It depends on which engine is in your Century but typically the cam sensor is located on the side of the motor opposite of the belts. it is located on the top of the engine and is usually held on by two small bolts. Hope this helps!

The starter solenoid is located on the starter, and the starter is bolted up underneath the vehicle to the passenger side of the engine block next to the oil pan.

Have an auto parts store check for the code. It is possible that you have a bad O2 sensor or your catalytic converter is clogged.
