I have to inflate 3 car tires 2-3 times a week. I loose about 15 psi in 2 days. It started with FL tire, then FR and RL had the same problem after tires were rotated during service. the only tire that does not loose pressure is RR. Please help!
Aluminum wheels are famous for corrosion at the bead seat (where tire meets rim) check that area with soap , tie will need to be broken down and cleaned on inside bead . you cannot see this problem by visual inspection
There are various ways by which a tire can lose pressure: foreign object (such as a nail) in tire; old valve stem; improperly seated valve stem; leaking valve stem (at the business end); a bent wheel. The leaking valve stem you can check by putting a little spit on the end to see if it blows a bubble. If it does, then you have a leak. For the other possibilities you should probably go to a tire service business.
The best way to find out the leak is to immerge tire in water you will see the leak. don't forget to check the valve without cap
SOURCE: Check tire pressure warning
check tire pressures with a gauge and set to the specs either in door jam or in glove box. your car must be equipt with tire preasure monitoring system so the sensors are inside the wheel normally part of the valvestem.

hold reset button for about 10 seconds. your tire pressure would reset

most pontiac grand prix are equipted with a tire calabrater.. with this system the car recognises your tires losing air even to the .014 degree to reset this reach up under the steering consol and there sould be a yellow button to recalibrate the tire pressure.. make sure ALL tires are at desired infflation before hiting this button

I had the same problem, I held the reset button in for over a minute and it finally seemed to reset. It has been about a month and the light has not come back on. Yet! Good Luck

Don't go to the dealer, unless you just have too much money. Call around to tire shops in your area and see if anyone has a "Bar-Tech" tool or a similar device that will reset your sensors for you and HUGE savings.

Thank you all for your comments and feedback. I very much appreciate it! I was able to solve the problem by the rust cleans, tires resealed and insides repainted as the air leak were from the rims. So far, the problem has not reoccurred.
