SOURCE: How do I keep getting gas mixed in with my oil?

Does the blazer run ok? how much gas is in the oil? You will get a certain amount of gas in oil thats normal. If your getting like a half a quart thats not normal. If your getting a lot in the oil its got to be flooding and fouling plugs. Need the whole story in order to help. Just taking a gess hear its the injection system, there was alot trouble with them thru the years like your blazer.

SOURCE: What's the likely cause for an oilcooler to mix

The passages that the oil runs through inside the oil cooler have likely become corroded and are allowing oil out/coolant in. This has been an ongoing issue with vehicles using extended life antifreeze, particularly Dexcool. The antifreeze becomes corrosive and rapidly wears components that it passes through, i.e. radiator, heater core, oil cooler, etc.

Question edited for clarity.

No to both. The water pump is chain driven and takes water from one side and pumps it out under pressure from the other. The thermostat is fully enclosed in a housing with no access to oil.

Oil in Coolant only comes from a failed head gasket where the oil and water channels are in close proximity and under combustion pressure of hundreds of pounds.

Water pumps are designed to pump water through the engine, radiator, and heating system. Water pumps will not cause oil to enter the cooling system.Oct 4, 2016

Ran hot and died while adding water to rad now wont start
Blown headgasket is most likely. Possibly cracked head/block (water may be in the oil) If you are lucky, the spark plug wires are just wet and killing spark. Hard to tell with no vehicle information.

2000 CHEVY TRACKER **** AND SPUTTER IN LOWER GEARS. WHITE SMOKE FROM EXHAUST, BAD SMELL UNDER LOAD.
bad shift solenoid in transmission ,and white smoke is because you need head gasket,it is broken and you are mixing fuel with coolant,that will cause bad cat converter soon,and your engine will die soon due oil and water mix ,will kill your crank shaft and cam shaft bearing,(check your oil see if it look like milk shake,that is very bad)

Car overheated today and began to spill oil. now that I've put water and new oil it doesn't leak but the car shakes when I put it in drive
have you checked the compression on all cylinders?;if two adjacent cylinders are in low range,you may have head gasket damaged. Did you notice oil mixed with vapor on the radiatior cap,oil in the radiator/crankcase (oil looks like chocolate color 'cause of oil/water mixed). Do your spark plugs look like they've been steam cleaned?(from steam in the cylinder head)

Engine Overheating and too much oil to be drained out.
if the oil was milky in appearance then you can suspect a blown head gasket. Coolant is mixing with the oil causing the oil level to rise. Has the coolant level gone down? Check your spark plugs. The cylinder with the leaking head gasket will have a cleaner spark plug. If the leak is bad enough you can see water squirting out of the spark plug hole when you crank the engine with the starter. You will also see steam coming out of the exhaust pipe when the engine is running.

There is oil in the radiator
could becoming from ur oil cooler lines that go into rad,,,could have internal crack in rad,,,pull dip stick out & ck to see if motor oil is low or a grayish color,,if ok ck trans fluid to see if is low,,have to find out what kind of oil residua is in the over flow jug

This is typical of a bad head gasket. The gasket is shot, allowing the coolant to mix in w/ the oil.
