Hi, it could be a bad earth, fuse box fault, damaged wire or connector you would identify which one by using a multimeter otherwise known as a cercuit tester

Its a problem that is not a quick fix sorry. it is possibly a wire shorting and causing silly things to happen but for signals try replacing your signal switch as it is a mutifunction switch

SOURCE: windows wont go down or up

Check the switches for a clicking sound if you hear a clicking sound then the switches are fine. Does the driver side switch work for the windows? Check it for the click sound. Make sure it isnt a blown fuse. If you have replaced the fuse and you dont hear clicking sound it might be the switches and you can find them at a junk yard. If you have tried all these things and it still doesnt work you might need new window regulators and/or window motors or it might be a wiring problem.

SOURCE: the passenger side window will not roll up or

You may have to replace the motor. When they start to fail they often work intermittently.

SOURCE: Sometimes when I start my car, the guages, headlights, a/c, radio won't come on

The randomness of the power coming onto the electronics is indicated by a loose wire, you should have a shop technician check your wiring, however wiring can be very costly.

After having disconnecting the battery in my Chevy

The turn signal clicking sound comes from the driver radio speaker .Disconnecting battery without using back power supply can cause problems .Does the radio show loc ?
Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems
Being able to roll down the windows with the key off is a function of RAP - Retained Accessory Power .
Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is a power mode that permits the operation of selected customer convenience items for 10 minutes after the ignition switch is turned OFF. RAP power mode is enabled by the BCM.- body control module .Disconnecting the battery caused something to power down an not wake up . The dealer should have been able to hook up Tech 2 scan tool an tell that . Without looking at factory service info . i believe the BCM sends a wake up signal to the radio , that's just a guess . I would need to know the year of your vehicle to check .

Car electrical problems

I have this same old 95 Accord, four cylinders. It started with two of the spark plugs were going back, causing the radio to cutoff suddenly. The engine stops once awhile and bad mileage. Battery did not last long. I have to disconnect the radio antenna, as there was a short. Do not know if these can help. Good luck.

I got a 2000 Pontiac trans am and every time I turn the car on the driver side window will roll down and it won't roll back up. But the passenger side window works fine. And when the stereo works the...

How about when the radio is on & the key is off or
in your hand,if you open either front door does the radio go off
& do you lose the delayed window feature assuming you have that
If so you problem is a delayed accy relay
Next would be the front door switches
I will give you credit for what you tried
but fail to see why you would switch motor
from door to door, they work powered directly or they don't
I would think your battery would have gone dead by now
if the relay failed to time out or go to sleep

Turn Signal/ High Beam Lights/ Driver Window/ Horn suddenly not working! Help!

These are just ideas, but In my simple attempt....start with checking, or have someone check every fuse in the fuse box. Another thought is that the turn signal indicator arm that controls blinkers, high beams has finally gave out. And when it did, it might have shorted out the horn. Being a 1993, it has probably seen some usage. Does the cigarette lighter work?? Also check the fuse in the fuse box that controls the horn, because in some of my experiences, the cigarette lighter and the horn are sometimes on the same fuse.

My 2000 Ford Windstar is having some electrical issues. I was driving it home and the AC stopped working the radio went dead the odometer went dead my turn signals did not work and I could not roll down...

Check your alternator. My van did something similar. I was driving down the road and all of the sudden my windows, a/c, radio, door locks, speedometer, everything electrical went down. We stopped and tried to crank it and it wouldn't. Then finally it cranked up went another mile before the fuel pump quit working too. It was the alternator. I had to have someone come jump me off and follow me to the parts store and then home for it to be fixed.

Windows wont roll up and down and hazard continues to click even when not on.

These are two separate issues. The most common cause of the clicking is the hazard switch located above the radio.Replacing this generally takes care of that issue occassionally it is a malfunction in the turn signal switch but most likely the hazard switch. If all windows are affected would check fuses first. If the windows roll down from the corresponding switches example rf allows rf to roll down. If not suspect an electrical issue such as fuse or relay. If they do roll down from the switches on the doors but not the drivers door possible a master switch issue.Drivers door contains a master switch that controls all windows.Do the windows work at all?
