I cannot find the turn signal flasher on my 1993 Pontiac Sunbird LE

you have to remove the intake tube and then it should expose the ignition system on the drives side of the cylinder head... or... follow the spark plug wires...

Under the driver's side near the end of the column steering.There is 2 unit flasher, one for the left and right flasher signal and the second one for the four-way flasher.

this sounds like the oil pressure switch(ops) is leaking.pickup a ops and replace the sensor and the leak will stop

Try a turn signal flasher , it's different then the 4 way flasher. You may have a bad horn too.

both flashers are driver side, under dash, above kick panel, mounted in top of convenience panel. You could probably swap them to get the turns to work until you buy a new one.

IF IT HAS A V6 CHECK THE CRANK SHAFT SENSER

I have the same Problem. Replaced fuses, turn signal lights, electronic flasher and steering column switch, I had an electrician check it out, and assess that there is a short somewhere in the circuit before the flasher. Hard to get at.

The turn signal flasher is located under dash panel, right side of steering column.


The fuse panel is located on the left side of the instrument panel. To gain access to the panel, pivot access door downward.
The hazard flasher is located under dash panel, left side of steering column.
The turn signal flasher is located under dash panel, right side of steering column.

does the wire plus up, if so its should work fine

If you have no turn signal operation check the turn signal flasher unit. More often than mot this will be the problem. Your emergency flashers operate on another circuit with another flasher unit. The flasher units are very cheap to purchase and easy to gain access too.
