I have 95 mustang and my fog lights are not working at all. And recently my headlights would stay on for five minutes then they turn complete off while I'm driving. Most of the time I have to turn on my high beams. My park lights and tail lights are still on. I check all bulbs they are good. I check my headlights switch which is good shape. I went to auto zone one of the worker told me that I need a fog lamp relay. I don't know if this part going to work or not. Please send any suggestion and information so I can fix this problem.

SOURCE: high beams wont turn on.

First place to start is with headlight switch. I did have a case many years ago when both high beams were blown out at once, but this is rare. When you have the headlight switch out, jump power from te low beams to the high beam contacts. If high beams come on, replace switch.

SOURCE: 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SES, the blue high beam

It sounds like you are confused about how your headlamp system is supposed to work. The DRL does not run on the High beam circuit, it runs on the low beam circuit. The fog lamps are supposed operate with the park lamps and also with the low beams, not the high beams. From your description, I would say that your system is operating as designed and you are having trouble telling High from Low. (Don't feel bad, that is why high beam indicators were invented in the first place.)

Wiring of fog lights on 95 Mustang

If you bought the fog lights from Ford and they plugged into factory plugs at the front bumper, then I suspect you need the headlight switch that came optional for your car. You will need to install a relay into the fuse box. Check for any fuses for that circuit. I did one on a Ford f-150 and the switch came with the lights from Ford.Usually the fog lights are not on until you push a button or turn the switch.

Headlights flickering off and on 1999 mustang

do you have the fog lamps on at the same time? If yes, don't use them.

If not, it could be the headlamp switch. Something is drawing too much current.

Drivers side reverse light on while i drive.

Your car has rear fog lights. The rear light that you see come on with your headlights is your rear fog light. The light in your dash is the rear fog light indicator. To turn off your rear fog lghts push your headlight switch in half way. To turn off your front fog lights push in all of the way.
