Second time complete breakdown of engine ,camshaft chevy venture

This is the second time since i purchased this used van last year. completely broke down, already replaced engine once since with a used one. they are telling me the camshaft cant handle the pull of the van??? i am already out 5600 purchase price plus cost of used engine once after this happened eight months ago, does anyone know any options, i am afraid to put more money and this just happens again.
the van already isnt worth what i have put into it , but broke down its worth even less. i just want it to stay running and get use of my money out of it. can anyone offer advice on what we can do?

How much to r&r rod bearings on a 1994 chevy van with 4.3 motor

That depends on who you take it to do the job. If you need rod bearings, you should also replace the camshaft and crankshaft bearings at the same time since the engine has to be completely disassembled to get to the rod bearings.

My 2002 Chevy venture van will not shift from second gear. It goes in first second and reverse fine. What could it be???

Time to rebuild the transmission, for any number of reasons

Usually people never change trans fluid at all or every 3 years
as required
Then you have a tran that is 12 years or older,so it's worn out

I have a 2000 Chevy Venture van and the heat when turned on blows cold. For a while it was still blowing out warm air thru the back vents but now it is all cold. The van wouldn't warm up at all e

needs the water system back flushing out, heater being cold is its blocked up some time a few back flushes and forward flushes with a hose pipe should free up the dirt inside, same with the engine and radiator. there are meany videos on you tube to help you understand how to back flush you engie. but do the radiator and engine and heater separate so the muck does not go back into the engine.

I have a 1997 Chevy Venture 3.4L V6. Since buying the van last year I had the head and intake gaskets replaced due to overheating and mixing of oil and coolant. I have been driving the van for about 5...

Sometimes the head gasket blows from too much back pressure caused by blocked exhaust or cat. convertor. This will happen if the heads were not checked for warpage & cracks. Also if poor quality head gaskets were used &/or improper torquing precedure, this problem will occur. It may be wise to get a complete long block that has been rebuilt & warranted for at least a year. Make sure you have no exhaust restrictions because antifeeze in the exhaust will wreck the cat. convertor. Good luck with your rebuild!

I have a 97 Chevy Venture Van with a weakening fuel level sensor.

No it's not, if your van is running fine, fuel pump is good, just the fuel gauge sending unit is bad, to repair, the gas tank will have to come off, the sending unit sit on the same hanger the fuel pump is on.

Hood latch

Try spraying the latch mechanism with WD-40 or similar light oil and operating the release cable a number of times. Check the condition of the release cable if nothing happens. The latch itself may have a broken spring due to the low temps.
