could be a few things broken front springs i take it its the front linkages on suspension broken shokers just get the front end of the car checked out incase its somthing serious but i think it one of the above

Loud clunking noise WHERE in the Voyager when WHAT is "on full lock"? It might help to be a little more descriptive.

Knowing Chrysler minivans the way I do, I would assume that you are chasing noises in the front steering and suspension. Those are notorious for all kinds of noise in the front suspension. You need to check the stabilizer links, the stabilizer frame bushings and the upper strut bearings - these are the most common "noise-makers".

If it is making the noise when you have the wheels turned hard to one side and accelerating, then it is most likely a bad CV joint.

Please define locks up?

You need the vehicle to diagnose those kind of issues

the damper makes a clunking noise or a loud rattle, not what u are hearing.

Check the drive shaf

are they the original struts in the front .if so replace the strots and strut plates .

you must replace and lube the front sway bar bushings,chrysler service bulletin calls it a squak, but can sound like a rubbing, a clunk etc the common factor is this is really noticeable the colder it gets outside
