check inertia switch ---if that doesnt reset pump then need to check for what problem accident may have done

If you are saying you think the fuel pump is loosing pressure when the engine is off, then yes the check valve is in the pump. But it could also be a problem with the fuel pressure regulator.
A mechanic would check the fuel pressure at the engine and find out if it is dropping off.

You have the timing off. If you crank the engine you will bend every valve in the head and be looking at $2K in repairs.
What stopped the engine from turning is the valves are hitting the piston.

Fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. You can access fuel pump trough rear of the vehicle in some models thru trunk afer removing carpet, or never models behind rear seat. You have to remove rear seat to access fuel pump .
Check your fuel pressure before removing fuel pump, somethimes your fuel shutt off switch could be malfunctioning.

Try your inertia switch in the cargo area in back. Its located on the passenger side rear wheel well. Push the button.

I would listen for the fuel pump(take the gas cap off and listen for the buzz when someone turns the key on), if no buzz or whine then have them crank the engine.If still no noise then take a hammer and hit the middle of the gas tank while the car is being started(make sure E-brake is applied)If it starts it's your fuel pump.

There is no selector valve on a 1995 ford f150 300 engine. The selector switch on the dash sends power to the pump in the selected tank. The pump then sends fuel to the engine. If engine won't run on the selected switch, the pump in that tank needs replaced.

good old ford lol, try looking at the crank sensor its located at the front of the engine tucked in right hand side of exhaust manifold and gearbox, two pin plug, i have also known these to have no end of faults with the fusebox.
easy to remove, and solder the connections inside they all suffer eventually, if your not to handy with cars i recommend taking to a auto electrician, easy if you know how. Good luck Davelee

mine has a fuse. also check power to the pump and to the cut off switch ... if you have power it would be the pump ... good thing you can remove the back seat to access the pump.
