  • Press the "Power" button to turn off your unit and then remove the filter from the filter panel on the side or front of your air conditioner. Refer to your manual if you are unsure where the filter on your unit is located.

  • 2

Inspect the filter. If it is dirty, brush off dirt, debris and lint. If it is really dirty, wash it with mild soap and water and allow it to dry completely. Reinsert it into its compartment. If your filter is worn out or damaged, purchase a replacement filter from an appliance or hardware store and replace the old one.Turn on the air conditiner

  • Check for a reset button on your air conditioner and press it to reset your unit. Some of the newer air conditioners have reset buttons to restore the default factory settings. Press the "Power" button on the front panel of your air conditioner to power down your unit if it does not have a reset button. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Leave the air conditioner off for several hours to see if it will reset.

Plug your air conditioner back into the electrical outlet and turn it on. If your air conditioner is still displaying the E1 error code, turn it off and contact a qualified technician because the room thermistor response to detecting room tempeture is needs replacement I say I'd loose business but rather clients trust me then go elsewhere recommend me for what you'll pay get a new one if it doesn't work

SOURCE: Nissan Altima no cool air blowing or hot air blowing

    Hi!
It appears we have an Air lock scenario and you will need to perform a system Bleed.
Park the vehicle on level ground, when cold remove coolant filler cap, start engine and leave to idle, turn heater on full and blower to max. When engine reaches operating temperature watch and listen near coolant filler, keep clear as gurgling and hopefully a boil over should occur. Top up with very warm coolant and wait as it may do it again.
Check for heat inside vehicle if warm replace coolant cap but keep an eye on temperature gauge as the ~Air lock may have moved on from heater matrix/core so proceedure needs to be carried out again from COLD.

SOURCE: air conditioner blows hot air from dash

On most cars when you push a button or slide a lever to change your choice of location where you want the air to blow out louvers move inside the dash to redirect the air to your chosen location. When you switch from heat to AC other louvers move. These louvers are often powered by vacuum lines running from the engine. If one of these louvers is stuck or if you have a vacuum leak in one of the lines it may be causing your problem.

How do I find the Fuse Box on a 2008 Chrysler Sebring?

I doubt the issue is a fuse. If the blower is blowing, then the issue is hot air. You ably need to have your ZC re-charged Freon but first you need it leak checked. Both these require special equipment. Go to a place that does only auto AC. They will know what they're doing.

Air conditioner was blowing out cold air fine until my battery went dead,,once it was turned back on the ar only blows out hot

The A/C compressor only works when the engine is running.jiggle the wire on the compressor to make sure it's not loose or broken. The compressor clutch has to engaged for it to pump. There's about a 30 amp A/C fuse in your fuse box (under hood). Check it, if there's no power to the compressor.

Front fan for air conditioner stop blowing but the back still blows. What could be the problem

If it wont blow on "any" speed, rap on the blower, if it starts to blow, replace the blower motor. If not, check the fuse, (under hood fuse box) FUSE 2 40 Amps. The Pink/White wire at the blower should be 12V. If the pink/white wire is hot, and the Orange/Black wire is not, the motor is bad.

Had to change the battery now the ac is not blowing cool air but hot

Just a guess - but a place to start...
Check the ground wires on the computer module (black box) that attach to the battery cable about 18 inches from the battery end. They control lots of items - including the air conditioner.

2001 Ford Taurus battery dead, recharged and now the air conditioner blows hot air. Could it be a fuse or switch to re-activate the air conditioner

look at the front of the a/c compressor when the system is turned on and see if the clutch is engaging. there is a plug there for that assy. otherwise, check the fuse box.

2005 Toyota Corolla air conditioner is cold but

The air flow does not 'increase' with the recirc button pressed. The fan motor blows at specific speeds, no matter whether fresh or recirc is selected. The recirc feature is there so that you do NOT admit 'fresh/hot' air from the outside into the AC box. In short, the recirc feature is to re-use, or, recirculate the existing air in the car. When it is properly working, on a hot day, the recirc selection should drop the internal temperature at the center air vent about 6 degrees lower than with the fresh selected.

CEL is ON. OBD code P2181. I already replaced the ECT 3 mo ago due to OBD code P0118.

    P2181 is a overheating engine.
    Can be:
Bad fan themoswitch, temp sensor themostat water pump impeller fan motor or fuse on battery
check to see if fans work by turning on Air Conditioner (fans should run with A/C on). Turn A/C off, warm engine, check to see if fans come on, if they do NOT it may be thermo switch on radiator on lower left side, has 3 wire plug, takes 1-1/8" wrench/socket to remove.  This thermo switch controls fans when temp reaches 195F, if fans do not come on at engine temp 190-195F try  replace switch VW part number: 1J0-959--481-A  You can verify if the switch is bad by shorting wire 1 and 2 (fans should come on when jumpered).
