Pull the panel underneath the steering wheel , it folds down, locate the security system module, locate a white plug on this mudule with a yellow, red and black wire, follow the yellow wire, it should go up to a pink wire that comes down from the ignition, disconnect this yellow wire at the point where it connects to that pink wire and yuor jeep should start, if it doesnt let me know, you then need to ckeck the starter relay, hope this helps, it helped me with my 05 jeep liberty,

Aside from the part about the remote, I would first check to make sure the battery has a solid 12volts in it and that the terminal connections are clean. After this, then check to see if operation has been restored. Jumping across a battery with bad connection often prevents the vehicle from starting. Also try closing the doors and then locking and unlocking drivers door with the key itself. This should re-set the security system

This is the frustrating part...likely If I was there I could have it running within the hour. I can't see or hear it and can only know what you tell me...ever try to tell someone how to tie their shoelace on the phone? not as easy as you might think, but you can do it yourself without looking!!!
Good luck, hope it's something simple!!

Is there a way to unlock the rear door of a 2004 jeep liberty from the inside

If you hit the unlock button in the door 2 times, it should unlock the tailgate. Otherwise you may have to go back to the dealership and have them program a new remote for you. If the battery in your remote went dead, it may work again by replacing the battery.

Why won't 2004 jeep liberty rear hatch door open?

There is no keyhole and switch on the rear hatch in Jeep liberty.
You can control the hatch by remote key and window/door switch on the driver seat side.
I don't know why they make like this, it's inconvenience.

My horn went off and would not turn off on my 2005 Jeep Liberty. The remote key won't work and the engine will not work with my key

Your alarm has been set off, once this happens the engine can not be started until the alarm is clear. It pretty much disables your ability to drive the car just in case it would be stolen. The dealer will need to check out to see if the alarm malfunctioned or ? what caused it to go off.

I have an 08 Jeep Liberty that has a remote starter on the key. I tried to unlock the car with the remote, however, that didn't work, so I unlocked the car with the key. The alarm went off, I tried pushing...

Sounds like you have a key without the chip in it. Replacement keys without the chip will only unlock the doors and will activate the theft alarm when you start the vehicle.

I have 2002 Jeep Liberty (Sport) - won't start!

Your security system could have a problem, replace battery in keyless remote. If not helping you may have to take it somewhere and have security system checked
