I hit a garbage can that was too close to the road and my passenger side mirror now shakes and looks like it is about to fall off. It is not broken. Is there a screw I can tighten to fix this issue?

You'll have to remove the door panel to access the screws which hold it on.

How to repair a loose driver side mirror without replacing it?

I would unscrew the 3 screws and take the mirror out, to try and see why theyre not holding it properly. maybe use epoxy to fix the broken bracket and then screw the mirror back on.

97 isuzu rodeo 6cyl...changed my valve cover gaskets...now another oil leak under the left valve cover (pass. side) about mid way down...what that is it?

No idea without a good look myself but i would hazard a guess that the gasket is adrift somehow when refitting .

54 plate isuzu rodeo, when jump started electric windows driver side will not work, in the past i have unplugged unit from drivers door , left it 30mins, plugged it back in and they work. now this does...

Could be and is likely to be the fuses this time :o/

If fuses are ok try a full system reset by disconnecting to + terminal off the battery, momentarily hold the terminal to the bold to diffuse all control units, leave disconnected for 10 minutes then reconnect & try them then.

The glass in the driver side rear view mirror is loose. how do you tighten it up?

The driver and passenger side mirrors have a small rubber plug in the bottom center of the mirror housing. Remove the plug and there is a phillips head screw holding the mirror assembly. Tighten this screw about 1/8 turn and it will keep the mirror from moving around. If you remove the screw you can remove the mirror and drive motors. Use a bit of thread-lock to keep the screw from loosing again. Reinstall the rubber plug.

Driver side mirror loose how can i tighten it

Most mirrors have a removable cover just on the inside of the door. If you look closely where the mirror meets the door on the inside should be a snap in place cover or three screw holes with snap in covers that you remove and then use a screwdriver or small socket wrench to tighten the screws or bolts.

Dirver side mirror broke today

ok first you need to pull the little trianglle off the back of the mirror on the INSIDE of the door
when you do this you will see 3 bolts...remove the bolts and unclip the harness...you can go to a junkjard and get a new mirror cheaply and installation is reverse of removal
