My 2004 Chrysler Pacifica won't start.

My car was serviced and they replaced the engine bolts that were bad. since then, the car was towed twice because it died once and the second time it just would not start in the driveway. Each time, the car started fine at the repair shop and they could not find anything wrong with it. Now it is sitting dead in my driveway again. The tow truck driver who towed it the last time thought that it might be the alarm. When you go to start it, everything electrical works, lights come on, etc. The repair shop asked me if there was any clicking noise when I try to start it, but there is not even one click. I can't believe that I will have to tow it again. I thought it might be possible to disable the alarm system and see if that is the problem. However, I have no clue how to disable it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. You were somewhat correct. The engine mounts or bolts were replaced incorrectly.

Try grounding the engine, they may have moved, removed, or broken the ground straps.

Take a jumper cable from the black(NEG) post to a bolt or clean piece of metal on the the engine.
And see if it starts.

Also check the connection at the starter, in case they had it disconnected during the repair.

Hope this helps.

I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica the engine light came on after replacing a coil now the car is running real rough all kinds of codes came up the camshaft code, misfire in number 6 and there was someting...

Look closely at #6, probably bad connector or wiring to coil. Get it somewhere else a 'new engine' sounds like a real bad outcome under the circumstances.

My 2004 Pacifica won't start

Connect a jumper cable from negative on the battery and the other end to the engine block. If it starts look for a broken ground wire under air cleaner box from engine to motor mount or directly in the center front of the engine. The ground in front has a wire attached to it.
Good luck

Pacifica won't start. Everything else works. What could be the problem?

Hook a jumper cable from negative terminal of the battery to the engine block. If it starts there is a bad ground. Look under air cleaner box and directly in front of engine. Replace with a # 10 copper wire and you should be all set.

  6. Clean gasket sealing surfaces.

To install:
  1. Install thermostat and gasket into thermostat housing. For ease of installation, install bolts in housing for thermostat and gasket retention.
  2. Install thermostat and housing to the intake manifold. Tighten the bolts to 105 inch lbs. (12 Nm).
  3. Connect radiator hoses and install hose clamp.
  4. Refill cooling system.
  5. Connect negative cable to remote jumper terminal

It is for an oil change mainly and any other service your maintenance manual suggests at the mileage interval. It needs to be reset after each oil change to be accurate.

Car won't crank & makes a clicking noise when ignition is turned.

Is this the original battery? Have u had it tested? The no crank, clicking noise is classic dead battery symptoms, lights can still work, but not enough power to turn engine over. If it's the original battery, it's at the end of it's life cycle, and should be replaced. U can get the battery tested for free at any parts store.
