I would start by checking to see if you have to proper voltage to the primary ignition coil. You can also dissconnect the connector from the coil and ohm the coil to make sure that the resistance is within manufacturers specifications. If it is not within specs then replace it. If the ignition coil tests good then check for 5 volt referance to the crankshaft position sensor, if it is getting no power then repair the short or open, if it has power, replace the crankshaft position sensor mmmkayyyy :P

It will either be wires, cap or rotor. Or all three.

What causes engine oil to leak into spark plugs holes?

  • Your spark plug tubes are leaking. The spark plug tubes are set in the valve cover, where the plugs set. It's an easy fix, I recommend a set of spark plug tubes that come with a valve cover gasket. Pull the valve cover and swap the gasket and spark plug tubes, problem solved. Take you maybe 30 minutes to finish the job. I recommend at least replacing the plug that was getting oil all over it. At least wipe it down real well and let it dry good. Common problem, easy fix.
