Ciragette lighter doesnt work - where is the fuse in the fuse box

is everything else working
somewhere inside the car under the dash or kick panel areas
should be a fuse panel cover to pull down or off

will have a legend to point out the lighter fuse

some times the element in the lighter goes its self check the back of lighter makeing sure that the wires havent come loose and ther is current there connect a car bulb for this if no multi meter if there is electric there its the lighter its self hope this helpse

most lighter fuses are in the fuse box. check your owners manual for the location of the box. usually it's under the dash near the drivers side of the car.

Hi, there is a separate fuse for the outlets and the lighter. The fuse for the outlets is labeled "AUX PWR." Both are in the fuse box under the hood. See picture below and thanks for using FixYa.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You have a fuse for this in the fuse box. If the fuse is good, you probably have a loose wire or a bad wire in that particular harness. In order to find it, it would need looked at and tested with a voltage meter.

Just FOUND it is in position F3-20A. Obviously it is a 20amp fuse. Located in the last row on the right at the top. Dodge does not do well with labeling what fuse is what. It was a process of elimination and a lot of pulling fuses. Hope this helps you find it faster than it did me.

is cigarette lighter socket still working itt may be on same fuse as radio { check fuse}

The usual cause is that the lighter is shorted, replace the fixture and the problem will go away.

U NEED TO GET A 12 VOLT DC TESTER. AND TEST THE LIGTHER TO SEE IF IT HAS POWER. THERE CHEP. AT RAIDO SHACK. GIVE IT A TRY . REMBER TO TRY IT WITH THE KEY ON THEN WITH THE KEY OFF.
