No tail or parking lights

Did you check voltage and ground for tail lamps? Use a test light, lamps on. On one side the wire color for tail lamps, white with brown tracer. The other side, white with dark blue tracer. The black wire is ground. Did you check for voltage at applicable fuses, lamps on? There is a park lamp relay. I'm not saying the relay is faulty, I'd have to check the relay circuits, first.

Viking here, There is a good chance that there is another fuse box under the hood. If you didn't locate a fuse for the lights it makes sense that the fuse is in another location. Look on the firewall, fender, for a box. Hope this helps you. Viking

the parking lights in the back are not working? i would check for a pinched wire or bare wire on the front lights, did they replace the bulbs when they did the repairs? the front and rear parking lights are on the same fuse.

Check fuse panel, under dash, as well as under hood. Owners manual should also give you map of fuses. May say"park" lights, "running lights", or something similar.

Try checking one of 2 things, Check the fuses. I had a 94 cavalier do the same thing after i put a 30amp fuse in to a 25amp slot for the courtsy fuse. Also check the bulbs in the tail of the vehical to make sure they are the right ones. If this dose not do it get a test light & wire diagrham, you may have a bad short to ground some where in the brake light wires.

You need to check for power and ground. If you dont have a volt meter you can get a good cheap one from radio shack. If there is no power recheck with a known good ground. All the lights on that side share a common ground. Check the sockets for signs of burning or corrosion. There is a plug in the left rear quater panell. If you have no power check the corrisponding wire at that connector. The wires splice togeter just before the connector. So if the other brake/tail light is working you know the problem is after that. Hope this helps. Im sure you'll find the problem.
