My signal lights and rear running lights went out at the same time. The white light so I can see my dash has been out for a couple weeks. I could push/wiggle the light switch knob and the dash light would come on but no more. I checked the fuses under the dash and they seem fine. So would thus be an electrical problem and /or a switch problem and hie do I find out?

SOURCE: The gauges have stopped working ? Fuse under dash seems to be OK ?

Behind the dash is what they call a constant voltage regulator. It controls the guages. It's small and located behind the dash near speedo.

SOURCE: rear brake light and turn signals out

Check your hazard switch and see if it's engaged. cycle the switch a few times and see if that fixes it. Dirt gets in the switch and sometimes causes what your concern is.I hope this helps.

SOURCE: 97 Ford E250 Running lights and dash lights not working

best bet is get a WIRING DIAGRAM. you should have current (12 volts) on both sides of the fuse that works the tailights.if not there is probably a broken wire or a shorted wire leading up to the fuse. you kinda need the wiring diagram so u can see in which order the current "flows" which will help point u in the right direction.

My park lights and instrument lights come on when i depress brake pedal, whether engine running or not.

First check to make sure you have the correct number bulbs in the rear, next remove all the rear bulbs involved then check to see if the problem went away indicating a shorted bulb if so replace all the bulbs. There appears to be a connector or connectors for the rear lights unplug them then recheck if ok now check for green, white or grungy looking places on the harness, if ok replace the sockets. If all is good back there lets go under the dash. Look at the brake light switch and follow the wire that leads to the turn signal switch make sure it's not pinched by a brace or a bolt shorting it into the tail light wiring that runs into the same harness. I hope this helps. Take care.

Rear turn signal does not work

If the indicators on the dash are staying lit all the time, it is because you likely have a bad ground to one of your running lights, causing the running lights to ground through the turn signal circuits. This is often caused by either a bad socket assembly at one of the bulbs or an incorrect bulb is installed in one of the sockets. You need to check FRONT and REAR lights to see which one is not working correctly. Also check the running lights and marker lights on BOTH sides of the vehicle. There will be SOMETHING that will not look the same from one side to the other if the left side is working correctly and the right side is not. Please keep in mind that you cannot use the right REAR turn signal without also using the right FRONT turn signal. The problem could be at EITHER end.

Had to re-wire the tail lights after a small fire which fried the rear wires. Cut out all the melted wiring in the harness and re-spliced the wires. tail lights work, turn signals , but the brake lights do...

See your GM dealer they will print out a wiring diagram for you, Look at the brake switch under the dash, I,m pretty sure they have a couple of white wires and an orange. The wire harness runs along the roof on the L/F side, What we use to do is run temp wires to test and varify everything and then do it perminantly. Good luck Kirk fc6fc

Rear turn signal and hazard light don't flash (left side only)

The rear left turn signal bulb must be replaced immediatly before it melts the light socket, if it has'nt yet. Also please verify that the correct light bulb is being installed. because even though many bulbs look the same they are not identical. Installing the wrong bulb can be the begining of many, many problems in the particular circuit

Tail lights, parking lights and dash lights not working

If signal lights are working, probably a failing headlight switch. Even though fuses seem OK, you can try replacing the appropriate fuse.

Left rear stop light & turn signal went out.

The wiring harness runs through the trunk between the quarter pannel and the inner liner. You might check these wires to make sure it hasn't been shorted or frayed.
