Driver/passenger's doors will not stay open they slam shut on us I've hurt my leg is there anyway to fix it?

Also if the linkage rods are find, than it's the lock selenoid that went out. If you want to save some money, visit a local yunk yard, try to go to a pick your part yunk yard ( the ones that you take your own tools) and take the part out yourself. The reason this is a good idea it's because you get to see how the part it's installed and when you install it in your car you have an idea how it goes.

Either a faulty door switch or the module will cause this. Not quite sure where the module is in your vehicle but all of them have one.
