Should be on the bellhousing on the drivers side just where you need rubber arms to reach it.Should have no continuity between b&c terminals (check with ohmeter) Harness plug is usually on the drivers side between the master cyl and the back of the engine (unless someone moved it)

The speedometer has stopped working on my 1995 Jeep Wrangler. I have been told to replace the speed sensor. Is this a solution and if so, where is this sensor located?

Do not know all the specifics like what engine ect... Most speed sensors are located by transmission valve body area.

1995 jeep wrangler when cranking sometimes check eng. lite doesnt come on when this happens i have no spark.cranks good but no spark. when the check eng lite does come on when cranking then the jeep would...

Your ecu is in need of repair. Your jeep has what is known as the "delayed check engine light problem". Time has taken it's toll on some of your ecu's internal components, the ones that supply power the fuel and ignition circuit relays. The ecu is slow to supply power to the circuits in the morning, causing the delay. Your jeep may also have a bad crank sensor, which would cause the sudden shutdown while driving. Your ecu can be repaired or replaced, your choice. Both options are available on ebay.

Jeep wrangelr Crank Position Sensor

wall5552: there were two engines used in 1992 Jeep Wranglers.
A 2.5 liter and a 4.0 liter. HOWEVER>>>> The location for the crank angle sensor is the same for both.
It is located on the bell housing up near the front at about the 10:00 PM position.
The Cam position sensor is located in the Distributor on both engines as well.

Have 1995 jeep wrangler-2.5 engine, won't start, have power to coil pack but not past coil pack, replaced coil pack with new one, electrical problem or possible sensor just not sure what to look for,anyone...

Most common cause is the crank sensor...It tells the computer when to fire off coil. Cam sensor does this as well but is less prone to failure. Don't change parts because I said so! Proper testing is essential! Test b&c terminals of sensor with an ohmeter. There should be no continuity there (same as when the ohmeter probes are not connected to anything) Terminals should be marked on harness connector.
