Listen for the fuel pump to come on,
& check fuel pressure at the moto,r with
a gauge

If you have not replaced your spark plugs every 3 years,
you may as well start there as well

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I was driving and it went dead. It will turn over but won't crank?

'Turning over' _is_ 'Cranking'! Yours is cranking, but not firing or starting.

Fuse 9? You need an auto electrician to find the short.

Can the camshaft sensor on my wife's chrysler Sebring 2,4l cause it not to start after changing the cylinder head gasket?

As it is a possibility some vehicles dont run with a faulty cam sensor . But if you are getting a cam sensor fault after head gasket id be rechecking the engine timing .

2007 mitsubishi eclipse hard to start after filling up tank. No check engine light on. Bad starter?

Maybe the carbon cannister is loaded up. Try parking the car facing uphill and see if that's better.

Starter is probably OK. Need more symptoms. OR it will be 20 question time. Takes a LONG time cranking B-4 the engine begins to run? That's what I'm guessing.

Does nothing to take the key back out and try it again.Just keep cranking until the engine starts to run.Don't be afraid to crank it for 15 seconds,or so.

1997 mitsu eclipse. When Iturn the key I hear nothing. As I hold a few seconds the starter starts to crank. Should I replace the starter?

could very well be the starter motor ,but check the ignition switch with a multi meter or a light first as the fault could also be in the ignition switch and i would isolate the fault first before paying out for unecessary parts
