My battery light just all the sudden comes on after getting my tires rotated. i thought that the battery took a crap on me so we went and bought a new one. it worked fine for about two weeks because i don't drive that much and today it came back on. i almost didnt make it home because when the battery gets really low it wont shift and starts convolution like its going to die. we tested the alternator and it tested good so now i don't know what else it could be except a bad connection or the ecm value. another weird thing is that if i leave my car idling the battery light will come on and then the battery dies anyone having this problem or know what it could be please help

try checking the secondary ground wire that comes off the battery see if its loose or corroded might help

1999 300M 150,000 Miles

Car dies when coming off acceleration or at idle in traffic or at a stop. I can watch the Tach go to 0 RPM, some times it will restart immediately other times it is hard to start, so far I have always been able to re-start it and Drive on. Does anybody have verified fix for this issue, I have seen posts saying can and crank sensor, throttle body, EGR, and many more ideas... Do not really want to just start replacing parts with the hope that I eventually get a fix. Help...

Sounds like the BCM (body control module) has a loss of communication with the engine controller. You will need to have it scanned with a proper scan tool to retrive the fault codes that are stored in the memory...I hope this helps.
