I have a 95 Cadillac Deville that is giving me a code T077. I can't find any information on this code even in my alldata DIY. It is not DTC 077, because it is not giving me a Traction Control Disabled message. I was thing from other posts I have seen that it might be a pcm communication problem but not sure. Does it mean that I need a new PCM?

Also, another reason I am thinking it is my PCM going out is that when it is acting up like that my ac randomly switches from vent to floor and back. From what I understand the PCM also controls the climate control blend door.

It is an intermittent issue and was not giving me problems for a few days after I had reset the pcm by disconnecting the battery and clearing all codes. When it came back it seemed to shift a little late and hesitate when ideling and during acceleration. Also, I have just changed the fuel filter which made my acceleration much better. It seems to have more problems when driving at lower speeds. I.E. City driving situations.

SOURCE: my 2001 cadillac deville keeps giving me dtc code system to lean

Anytime I get a too lean DTC I first change the fuel filter if it hasn't been changed in awhile. You'd be surprised how many times this has helped.

Good Luck with it.

I've got a 2001 Cadillac deville and it says it's lost the IRC ID and IRC data code. any idea how that happen?

When a malfunction such as an open fuse to a module occurs while modules are communicating, a DTC U1001-1254 Loss of 000 Communications is set current. When the modules stop communicating the current DTC U1001-1254 Loss of 000 Communications is cleared but the history DTC remains. When the modules begin to communicate again, the module with the open fuse will not be learned by the other modules so U1000 or U1255 is set current by the other modules. If the malfunction occurs when the modules are not communicating, only U1000 or U1255 is set. Radio quit working shows Code IRC U1000 please help

How to recharge my a/c

The PCM disables the compressor to prevent it from self destructing when low refrigerant is detected. You have to enter the on board diagnostics and clear the low refrigerant code to enable the compressor long enough to add refrigerant. See the DTC sticky at the top of the forum page if you need help.

If the information is helpful Then please give me some views. Thankx

I have a 93 cadillac seville with the 4.9 V8 and when i shut it off the idle speed motor clicks. When i am driving it the idle is all over the place, sometimes i have 30mph idle and sometimes it just...

It sounds like you have a bad idle speed actuator/motor. However, it COULD be a number of things. There should be fault codes stored in your Powertrain Control Module (PCM) if the idle speed cannot be controlled correctly.

The ONLY way to retrieve codes on your vehicle is built into the vehicle itself.
  1. Turn ignition "ON."
  2. Depress the "OFF" and "WARMER" buttons on the Climate Control Center (CCC) simultaneously and hold until the segment check appears on the Instrument Panel Control (IPC) .
  3. After the segment check, any trouble code stored in computer memory will be displayed.
There is actually a LOT more to it than this, (like, what do you do once you have the code) but the information you need is copyrighted material and it cannot be posted here. You can get access to this and a lot more information for your vehicle by subscribing to AllData DIY for a small fee.

If you decide to do this, I can help guide you through the AllData system and show you how to
find the information you need.

Trouble codes PO741 an B1347 an B1350

P0741 TCC System Mechanically Stuck Off (4T40, 4T45-E)

It sounds like your torque converter lock up switch is bad or the lock device inside the torque converter is damaged.

B1347 Driver Frontal Deployment Loop Stage 1 Resistance Below Threshold

This sounds like an airbag code. Possibly the sensor in the front of the car is damaged or has a wiring issue.

B1350 Engine Coolant Over-Temperature Condition

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
DTC B1350 is designed to disengage the A/C compressor clutch in the event that coolant temperature exceeds 126°C (258°F). The Air Conditioning Programmer (ACM) receives coolant temperature information from the PCM via class 2 serial data bus. While DTC B1350 is current the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) will display "ENGINE HOT - A/C COMPRESSOR OFF" on the Driver Information Center (DIC) to warn the operator. Refer to "Engine Controls" (PCM) for more information. This code will also set whenever code B1016 is set.
