I can't seem to get my remote to program. I have a 2002 Audi A4 and I have tried everything I can find on the internet on how to program my remote. I do have one remote that works but I have 2 other remote I can't seem to program. If anyone can shed some light on my problem it would be greatly appreciated.

At this point you need the dealer to scan the system and see if you lost programming.

Yes the key should be turned to on in most models.

hi i gather you have done the rest the key by..pressing one of the buttons, then manually locking and unlocking within 30 seconds, then leaving it 1 minuet to set?, if you have then unfortunately your local garage is correct, you will only be able to get it re-programed from a main dealer...

If you have a owners manual, it should tell you how in it. If you're battery's went dead in the remotes you should be able to program them according to the instructions in your owners manual. I have a 2001 jetta and in order to get a new remote programed I had to go to the dealer.

some remotes there is a tab you slide and a key pops out for the drivers door incase your battery dies. check if yours does this otherwise it looks like a trip to your Audi dealer for a new remote of if your lucky you can find a used one and programming instructions for it but then your left with the problem of getting the doors open to get in and program it with a key.

I believe this is your speed warning light. It appears that the car was programmed to trigger this when the car hit a certain speed. This feature was designed in case one wasn't paying attention to the speed.

Likely water damage to the central comfort control module, which is (stupidly) located under the carpet. Run a VCDS (RossTech) scan to verify this.
