Was driving the car shut it off then would not start. sat for two days then started. changed the fuel filter and started fine for 2 day then stalled out in the middle of the road. Would not start again. sat another 2 days then would start let it run until it got to normal operating temp shut off the engine let sit for and hour and would not start again. two days later same thing, only let it run for 10 minutes shut off the motor again and wont start cleaned new filter and still will not start

Fuel pump

check and test fuel pump relay,fuel filter (its external ) and fuel pump more than likely clogging fuel filter

loose/weak grounding cable tied somewhere to the frame/starter/engine

Sounds like it's not getting fuel. Check fuel pressure at the fuel rail. If low, make sure the pump is running. If the pump is running, but no pressure at the rail, check fuel, filter. Get back to us with result of these checks.

Low oil will not cause the issue you are describing..

What does it do, if you try to accelerate when this starts to happen? If it dies,sputters or is sluggish, I'd start by changing fuel filter, and if that doesn't help, have fuel pressure tested when (if at all possible) this begins to happen. Had similar problem, winter was fine, hot weather it would die, and restart after 20 minutes or so, then go a fair distance again, then same thing. Fuel pump was on it's way out and when it got hot, fuel pressure would drop. First thing in the morning when fuel in tank and pump was cool, ran like a charm, but on way home from work, after sitting on a hot day, fuel got warm/hot, and pump heated up and that's when it started. Carried a fuel pressure gauge with me. Fuel pressure when cool, was 49 psi, and when it got hot, eventually dropped off to 2 psi. Sat for 20 minutes, jumped back up to 49psi, took off for home,then would eventually get lower and die again. Changed pump and filter, all was well. Try filter first, you have nothing to lose, and it should be changed if pump replaced later anyway.

COULD BE BAD FUEL PUMP RELAY OR STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER.

tcc stuck try unpluging it and see if same but dont drive with unpluged will burn up transmission also could be fuel pump . or crank shaft postion sensor . try the tcc first then vheck fuel presure , and then check for codes with scanner

change fule filter if nothing changes do fule pressure test

Fuel filter changed recently? If it just started this & you filled up somewhere you don't normally fill up, then I'd try some "heet" additive or similar to remove moisture from gas tank, just in case that's the problem.$5.00 test.
