2002 Cadillac deville DHS. Before take the smork test the battery became weak. When battery weak engine service soon light came on.There was two cords. Cam position sensor and Crank position sensor. When I fixed the battery I erase the cords. Then after drive 100 ml I went to get smork test. Test was rejected. I drive more 150ml to complete the drive cercle. I went take smork test same thing happned. Then I thought the problem is sensors I replaced the sensors. and drive 85 ml and went to test still drive cercle is not completed. please tell me what is this problem? What I have to do?
Whatever is causing the timing adjust itself at the wrong time. It could be anything from a vacuum leak, to a coolant sensor to electrical problem. By reading all the LIVE READINGS from the sensors & getting an emissions reading will help u narrow down the problem. It doesn't sound like a DIY fix. Equipment needed

4.6 the twocrankshaft position sensors are located on the front of the block just above and to the left of the oil filter. not hard to replace.
