Transmission Shakes Check Engine light is on

I have a 203 Impala I had the Transmission serviced about 3000 miles ago but the last few days my car shakes really bad when it trys to shift.. Then later today my check engine light came on....

The fluid Might be a little low!!! It is an Automatic Transmission. It is fine until you drive it a little bit then it starts to shake during shifting WHen it warms up.. would that cause it to shake it is right under the line for min fluid... I will put some more in it. Like i said i just got the fluid changed in it and i really have not drove a long distance until yesterday when i drove from the bottom of our state to the top and back again.. Some one has said the Vacuum line maybe loose is that something to think about.. Thanks so much

yes it could be something loose like the inlet amnifold or something stupid but why does it only do it on gearchange, best bet is a drop of fluid if that doesnt do the trick then call a local mobile mechanic after the easter break.Well the sun is shining here in alicante spain and the cold wind is still blowing and as iam a devout athiest iam going out to re-align someones sat dish.If their is work of any sort i will do it mechanic by trade master cowboy by profession but if it can be fixed i will have a go.------and if they want me i fix that old battleship you americans have then go to the gulf of aden and give them a broadside ,THAT WILL STOP THEM PIRATES ,just like my grandfather did on the HMS renouwn in 1917 and blew a load of fuzzy wuzzies away with a broadside of 18inch guns ,man woman dog and cats ,anything within the 20+ miles or so range of the guns .Never had a problem for years after that ,sorry about being poilitical incorrect though just annoys me these jumped up darkies are getting away with it and everyone is to scared to open their mouths for being classed as raciest.Make an example and blow a few away ,set a precident .must go enough of my loonatic rantings

If the check engine light is on then hook up an OBD reader (which is pretty easy to do and a lot of parts stores do it for free) and find out what the problem is.

You might check the pulleys that the serpentine belt runs on. Make sure all are free wheeling and not loose or rough or make noise. You would need to remove the belt to check them.

2003 chevy impala cuts out and shifts hard sometimes. Check engine light is not coming on. Could this be some kind of sensor going out?

Okay a few things to check first, with car off, turn key to on position but do not start, does the check engine light light up, failed bulb? run codes anyway, most chain auto stores will do for free, check transmission fluid it it dark, burnt smelling? how many miles ? when was transmission serviced if ever? did you check spark plugs are they worn out? fuel filter changed if over 50k miles could be blockage and resettles when sitting. lots of things could case this issue, i would check light and codes first.

I'm getting the check engine light right side of the screen n the middle reduce engine power and on the left side of the screen i'm getting the service the stabililaty track something like that it ...

You need to go to Autozone to get your check engine light scanned for a code. It doesn't cost anything. Hopefully, your computer has found your problem. They can tell you why your light is on and tell you what the problem is. This will let you know where to start because they are a few things that can cause your engine to loose power.

"Service Engine soon" light came on last night when i was driving

No it will not. If you just bought the car. no doubt it has problems and the person you bought the car from had cleared the codes. After you have driven it a few days, the light has come on. because the engine computer (ECM) has run the tests and if a a component fails the test 2 times it will turn the light on. Sometimes a good scan tool (tech2) can tell you the "miles since cleared" and you how how many miles ago that the computer was cleared of all codes.

Engine skipping/misfiring, engine light flashing

Drive it into a dark place, or wait till dark. When it's running poorly, see if you can see any spark flying around. It sounds like plug wires.
