I have a 2003 saturn vue i was driving down the street security flashed gauges stop wrong and power steering and all my dash light came on is this a bcm problem or could it be a worn key please help

My BCM went out and has been with Chevy Service dept for 2 days because they can't get it to code. Could it also be the Passlock sensor in the ignition, as my security system hasn't worked properly using the remotes for a few years. Any help is appreciated as they are bringing in a person who knows Saturns better to help.

No, you can't disable it, you have to fix the problem, not try and find a way around it.

There is help to reset, but you probably need an auto electrician or a local place that installs alarms and remote starters. The both have pro grade scan tool computers to diagnose the problem.

I brought a used 2002 Saturn Vue, the security light is on on my dash which makes my headlights and interior lights blink on and off rapidly. Can anyone tell me how to make it stop?

Are you sure this vehicles security system wasn't breached before you bought it? Some GM vehicles and saturn is a gm vehicle. Flashes lights and gives a security light on the dash when a car was attempted to be started without the proper key or improperly jumped which sometimes burns out fuses. I hate these cars too many electronic issues.

2003 Saturn vue electric power steering not working and gauges not working

check the fuses in both fuse box,s ,under dash and in engine compartment , if all ok get the OBD codes read this should pinpoint the cause , the electric power steering system , in my opinion ,was a backward step in car technology ,so be preparred for a hefty bill if it need the motor replacing

I have a 03 saturn vue and the security light comes on and off the dash lights do the same what could this be? and driving home tonight it died on me.

This is a common problem on GM vehicles. This security light indicates a failure in the antitheft system that comes standard on your vehicle. It miscommunicates with itself and then shuts down the vehicle as a protective measure. There is no recal on this. The dealer wont help you. i am a saturn tech and ive never heard of this concern,the columns do go bad but they just set a ses light and cut out power,the column could be bad,it could also be the intermediate shaft u joint binding,,,i rec take to dealer, could be serious

My 2003 Saturn Vue instrument panel stopped working - no speedometer, no tachometer, no fuel gauge, no temperature gauge. Whats wrong?

The plug at the back of the panel has come lose.Remove the dash panel and push plug on firmly.Hope that was helpfull.

The lights on my dash board flicker on and off then turn off.

I had the same problem some time ago, lights would go on and off, odometer appeared to stop counting at times rpm gauge would work and then not... power steering would off and on work and head lights would blink on and off when in driving light mode (off position).. The fix for me was I had to have the dash computer replaced (about $500). After doing this around 50k miles ago all the gremlins seem to have remained gone.. Hope this helps

'03' Vue has trouble starting

Sounds like the fuel pump may be going out. By the way the power steering is electric in Saturn, so it does not require the engine to be running.
