I asked earlier if anyone knew where the fuse for the cruise control was on a 79 e220 merc. I received an answer that it was in the battery junction box and was fuse F70. I opened the box and there is no F70 or any "F" at all they are numbered 1-22, would anyone know what number fuse it is 1-22? pls

The first thing to check is the tail lights. The cruise control will not work if any lights are out. Changing to LED tail lights also causes the cruise to not work.
he fuse is located in the Battery Junction Box, fuse F70 (10A). The Battery Junction Box is located in the engine compartment near the firewall on the drivers side of the vehicle. alot of time when you cant get power to cruise control the brake fluid is low enough that it wont let you switch on but i dont know if that matters for the airbag
i could give you an answer if i knew the year make and model... however a scan tool will tell you whats going on and why the abs system is throwing a code. most shucks/oreilleys autoparts stores will let you use one if the car is at the store

Hello s poteet> My name is Roger and I will help you. The fuse for the cruise control will be located in the fuse panel located on the left side of the steering column under the dash. Locate the fuse listed as METER. Should be second fuse up from the bottom in the middle row of fuses. This will be a 15 amp fuse and blue in color.
