If you have a door window that works, then the problem with the other doors is in the motor or wiring to that motor. There is only one circuit breaker and one relay to all the door windows.
I had a '95 Saturn, the alternator looked like any other GM car's. It is located on the passenger's (right) side between the engine and firewall, you have to jack up the front and remove the right front tire, then there is an access panel in the rear side of the wheel well. Remove that and you can (fairly) easily disconnect everything and remove the alternator through that opening. Of course you have to disconnect the battery ground cable first, and use proper jackstands and block the rear wheels and set the parking brake, but I assume you know all that. Never get under a vehicle supported only by a jack.
I have never worked on a Cavalier, but I think it is a similar design.
There IS a fuse under the hood...the green 30A big boy labeled power/convenience. Use a multimeter to check power coming into the relay...if it's not there probably the fuse. If it is there, could be the switches.
If it's the fuse, go to a junkyard and get one cheap. But then, they're pretty cheap new too.
Hello there: no there is only 1 fuse for the windows but there is a window regulator attached to each window motor that are wired thought the system if the system has a surge in power they may fail depending on the condition of the unit these do go out over time so i would look at the window regulator and have it serviced or replaed ok I hoe this is very helpful for you Best regards MIchael
Your mirror is most likely black, just like all the other Saturns of
that year. Knowing that, now is it power or manual? Now you go to ebay
motors and search for a
passenger side mirror of the right color and control. There are lots
of
them listed and all will fit all Saturn SL models 91-95. There is a
little phillips screw holding in the cosmetic piece inside the front
door at the front of the window. Unscrew that and you will see three
larger nuts, take those off and the mirror will come off. Put your new
mirror on the reverse order.
Anytime two or more electrical units quit working at the same time speaks of a bad fuse. Fuses on the Saturn are to the left of the front passenger's legs forward of the console behind a panel.
