I have a chevy 1997 S10 pickup, turn signals come on but wont flash, hazard lights work but turn signals dont, Ive check fuses and replaced both flashers hazard and Turn signal flasher any ideas?

Its behind the center of the dash under the Ashtray U need TORX screwdrivers to take out the screws got to take off nearly all over the under dash plastic trim.

yes it is the same. the problem is most likely the turn signal switch which is located on the steering column. be sure to check all fuses, relays, and bulbs first. keep me posted thanks

Sounds like the flasher unit to me. Normally the emergency flasher and turn signal are separate.

The flasher is located above the fuse panel. The relays are built into the switch itself. They have a recall on the 4 way flasher switch because it is faulty and causes blinkers not to turn on. Very common Malibu and other Gm problem
