2002 Chevy Cavalier, 2.2L, Automatic, FWD... The engine rocks if changing the front tire or even pushing on the front bumper. Just purchased for my son to get back and forth to school. The mount looks good but I'm no expert. The car seems to drive well but should the engine rock at all, or how much movement is normal. Thanks, Kevin

IAC valve - idle air control valve or IAC air passage is pluged also clean the throttle plate and it's bore . Or take it to a repair shop that has the diagnostic equipment to test .

Try cleaning the throttle body and butterfly plate. If that doesnt work, replace the IAC (idle air control) motor.

It may be easier for you to bring it to a shop that performs alignments. If you want to try diagnosing it yourself it isn't to bad. Each affected tire will need to be raised off the ground and a jack-stand used, to keep you safe. Grab the tire at 12 O'clock and 6 O'clock and rock the tire (push with one hand, pull with the other, and alternate). This test will allow you to test the ball-joints and wheel bearing for play. If the tested components are tight (free of play) more than likely, you will just need an alignment. cost is typically between $70-$90 unless unforsean parts were nesassery to complete the service.

Different car has different way to reset. Read its manual, it should tell how to reset.

You will see a large plastic fan towards the front of the engine bolted to the radiator. If you have air condioning the ac condensor will be between the front bumper and front of the radiator. Thaqt item can be left alone in plafce upon removing the radiator

on my 96 Cavalier, it's at the front, on the passenger side, and you can see it if you get under the car. Kind of in front of the tire (very near the front bumper).

Well I would say yes if it is the new body style and 4x4.Even 2WD you may have to turn up the torsion bars then get the front end aligned.The rims don't matter how tall just wide.I have 2002 4x4 1500 with that size,but not sure what was stock on mine.I also installed the after market torsion keys that will allow for up to 33"tires.Well hope this helps and good luck.

Only way it would work is to do the 01 conversion by switching the whole doghouse (fenders, hood, bumper, lights, etc.) It can be done though.
