A nice simple answer, you can't. Think of it this way, the car doesn't know you are the owner, and it is there to stop exactly what you are trying to do. You have two computer ECM and BCM, plus the antitheft module and a number of sensors all trying to stop you. All you have to do is the re-learn procedure. Plan B is an auto electrician or alarm / radio installer or auto locksmith.

30 Minute Re-Learn Procedure

1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON (vehicle will not start).
3. Observe the SECURITY telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds .

The IAT sensor is an integral part of the Mass Airflow Sensor, located on the air filter box. The MAF sensor has 5 wires. The yellow wire with the green stripe is the output from the IAT and feeds terminal THA on the ECU.

Your Cobalt is not equiooed with a Power Steering Pump. It has electric power steering. See the description below.

Power Steering - System Description and Operation
The electric power steering (EPS) system reduces the amount of effort needed to steer the vehicle. The system uses the body control module (BCM), power steering control module (PSCM), torque sensor, discrete battery voltage supply circuit, EPS motor, serial data bus, and the instrument panel cluster (IPC) message center to perform the system functions. The PSCM, torque sensor, not the EPS motor are serviced separately from each other or from the steering column. Any EPS components diagnosed to be malfunctioning requires replacement of the steering column assembly, also known as the EPS assembly.

The Cobalt’s LS, LT and LTZ sedan share a 2.2-litre Ecotec inline four-cylinder. The SS uses the 2.4-litre, while the SS Supercharged coupe carries a 2.0-litre Ecotec with supercharger.

Save your money and don't attach the module, it does not work. It only works during idle and after that the O2 and MAP sensors take over to control the air fuel ratio and timing. Take note that if there is a conflict with the program to your ecm's parameters, your engine will run under limp mode default which would result in less HP and performance. Good luck and if you need ore performance just spend the extra to have your car Dyno Turned.
