well, with all that you have changed the only two possible things that are left PCM and the ECM....

Do you have an alarm system on this vehicle? If you purchased this car second hand it may have something that is inhibiting the engine from firing. From what you have told us here that would be where I would start looking.

I really hope this is helpfull

SOURCE: 93 mazda mx6 (v6) no spark.

Coil resistance is not a good way to determine if the coil is good or bad. It might still need replacing. Check to see if your getting a pulse signal to the coil. You can do this by hooking a milivolt test light to the trigger wire and ground. If it doesn't flash as you crank the motor, check out your pickup coil in the distributor. Some of them you can change. Some you have to replace the entire distributor. Sometimes oil will leak into the distributors on certain models which use an optical pickup. If this is the case, change the seal to fix the oil leak and GENTLY clean the optical sensor and photo wheel.

SOURCE: 2001 mazda tribute fuel injector diagram

if you have a cylinder 4 miss fire it is more likely to be the coil and not the injector. I have replaced a ton of coils on these for miss fires but don't think I've done an injector for this problem yet.

P0732 - Improper Ratio for Second Gear.
P0734 - Improper Ratio for Fourth Gear.

This diagnosis monitors actual gear position by checking the torque converter slip ratio calculated by TCM as follows:

Torque converter slip ratio = A x C/B A: Output shaft revolution signal from revolution sensor B: Engine speed signal from ECM C: Gear ratio determined as gear position which TCM supposes

If the actual gear position is higher than the position (2nd and 4th) supposed by TCM, the slip ratio will be more than normal. In case the ratio exceeds the specified value, TCM judges this diagnosis malfunction.

This malfunction will be caused when shift solenoid valve B is stuck open.

Gear positions supposed by TCM are as follows. In case of gear position with no malfunctions: 1 , 2, 3 and 4 positions In case of gear position with shift solenoid valve B stuck open: 4* , 3, 3 and 4 positions to each gear position above.

Symptoms: Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

Diagnostic trouble code A/T 2ND GR FNCTN with CONSULT-II or P0732 without CONSULT-II is detected when A/T cannot be shifted to the 2nd gear position even if electrical circuit is good.

Possible Causes:
- Shift solenoid valve B
- Each clutch
- Hydraulic control circuit

How to fix diagnostic code for 1999 vw passat po304 po305 po306

Hi. You have misfires on cylinders 4, 5 and 6. If there are no faults on cylinder 1, 2 and 3 then I would check the power to the left bank injectors. Also check spark plugs and ht leads. If there are running issues then this should be an easy fix. If the faults are very intermitant then it can be a bit tricky to isolate.

I need a fix on trouble codesP0304,P0305,P03060,misfire multiple cylinders for 2002 dodge caravan 3.3L v6

all codes will show the same results
Symptoms Symptoms may include:
  • the engine may be harder to start
  • the engine may stumble / stumble, and/or hesitate
  • other symptoms may also be present
Causes A code P0304 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty spark plug or wire
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
  • Faulty fuel injector
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Faulty catalytic converter(s)
  • Running out of fuel
  • Poor compression
  • Defective computer
Possible Solutions If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.
If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

2001 mazda tribute misfire on #5 after tune up with all new coils

Could be a bad spark plug or bad injector.
You could switch plugs with another cylinder to eliminate the plugs.
Same thing with the injectors.

P0306 and P0316

Okay, you were getting code P0306, and a P0316. You have replaced plugs and swapped coils around are you still getting the code P0306? or is it a different code for a different cylinder now? Replacing your crankshaft position sensor in this case will merely waste your money. Its doing its job, the P0316 is telling you you had a misfire in the first 1000 revolutions of your engine at startup, the P0306 is telling you its probably cylinder #6 that had the problem. there is no code there indicating your CKP is bad.

Now if you swapped your coils and the misfire is still on cylinder 6, its either injector problem, or base engine. If the misfire has moved to another cylinder, replace that COP.

Hope helps.

Replace spark plugs on a 2008 4 cylinder tribute

This is a fairly easy job. Do each cylinder one by one (removal and install), make sure to reinstall the coil on the same exact cylinder (DO NOT MIX UP). 1. Remove coil retaining scre 2. Pull upward on the coil to remove. 3. Remove spark plug (using a spark plug socket). 4. Properly gap new spark plug (if applicable). 5. Apply sprark plug anti-seize compound on plug threads. 6. Install plug. 7. Aplly coil boot grease on the coils' rubber boot tips. 8. Reinstall coil.
