Audi A4 02 door wont lock.

I have an audi A4 estate 02,the front passenger door wont lock but the rest of the car will. Sometimes I have problems with the window, but i can eventually open/close it if I fiddle with the control on the drivers door.

2004 Audi A4 key locked inside

If your car has keyholes to external the try this trick..obtain a tennis ball and cut a half inch circular hole into it...place the hole over the key hole of the drivers door..and punch or force the air out of the ball into the lock...you might need to try this several times...the compressed air can sometimes trip the central locking .....also try from the passenger door.

We have an audi a6 1.9tdi estate 2002, which we have been experience central locking problems with. The key fobs do not work tried changing batteries and resetting but does not work. The car has to be...

You really need a dealer to reset the anti theft and key recognition. There are very few independent shop who can successfully do this .

It does sound like you also might have drivers door micro switch fault...very common as the vehicle gets older . Have the shop can for faults in the body module. It will store a code if the door micro switch is not working.

If you like reading about VAG vehicles and seeing how to fix problems, try a visit to www.VWVotex.com where you will find the VAG community sharing the fixes and problems on these machines.

Audi fault code J386 (2002)

There's a TSB on that problem. It involves broken wires in the A and B pillar from the central convenience module to the rest of the car. Ask your VW dealership or what not for a more specific answer.
