I bought my 06 Beca with 118k on it 2&1/2 weeks ago and no problems until today (I did change out the "nonexistent low beams" yesterday). After returning from running a quick errand I stopped to grab my mail. When I restarted the car it shook once, I thought my 10 yr old had jumped into the back seat, so not a subtle shake. Put car in reverse and it repeatedly shook, then I put car in drive (5-10mph) to put it in carport approx. 400ft away. The entire car shakes but not harshly and it seemed to lose power, subtle slow down speed up (didn't look at rpm gauge but I did shut off radio and rolled window down to listen and slight change in engine rev sound). Took foot off gas and coasted to spot, put it in park and turned it off. There was no change in radio, lights, or A/C. Also, engine light did NOT come on. What could it be? Thanks for your help and sorry if unneeded TMI.

I am not familiar with the car, but is it a 4 wheel drive at all?

If it is and its engaged that can cause a shake like that.

Thank you Robert for your quick answer. I wish it were that easy but the car is a 24/7 AWD.

Ask your local technician to set up a fuel gauge pressure monitor so you can track it while your driving. Ask him what the normal range is so you will know when it falls below. Document it and let your Tech know. It sounds like your fuel pump is loosing Pressure.

I have honda generator, overhauled last year, last week i changed oil from then onward oil level is getting low but not that low . with white smoke at the start of generator and oil burning smell.

Could be the engine, until the overhaul, was run on a low grade or low specification oil that allowed or even encouraged sludge and carbon to build up in the engine.
If a high detergent oil was used at the overhaul it would have scoured the inside of the engine, removing deposits so increased oil consumption is often the result.

The additive packs of some oils also tend to cause the premature hardening and failure of some types of rubber seal, though this was a huge problem 20-30 years ago it isn't seen much today.

Low beams don't work

sounds like you are having problems with the relay. I suggest tracing wires until you find the relay and replace it. If relay checks out ok, it may be the switch itself.

Low-beams not working on 2008 Ford 150

Basicly lights operate from same source of power, so if you have high beems then power and ground should be intact. The operation of changing high to low is controlled by column switch,< blinker switch assembly >, and there slight possibility that both bulbs are actualy bad. To be on the safe side would check bulbs and wiring to them is in good shape before trying switch replacement.

I have a 2004 Envoy XL. The passenger side dim headlamp went out about 2 weeks ago and I replaced it. On Friday, I was leaving a meeting and I noticed my neither one of my headlamps were on, then I hit a...

This sounds like a loose connection/bad wire somewhere for the low beam lights. Can't really give you more information without seeing the vehicle, and wiring diagram for the circuit. Usually, things that go on and off when hitting bumps are connection/wiring problems. The fact that one of your low beam headlamps burnt supports this theory. Bad connections or wiring mean lower voltage, thus higher amperage at the bulb, motor or whatever it's running, which makes them burn a lot quicker.
