Where are the flasher fuses on a 1998 hyundai accent?

Blinkers and flashers don't work. Also, there is no clicking noise typically heard when blinker is engaged. Headlights, tail lights, etc. work correctly.

    Turn signals do not work at all, nor does the hazard lights. I checked a repair manual and it claims it to be under the dash (Lord knows I've looked) but I can't find anything that the repair manual describes. I checked with some local parts stores and they looked it up and claim it is on the passenger side compartment (whatever that means). I looked, nothing! I just need some sort of diagram to point to these or this flashers location. It is NOT a part of the fuse panel just to the left of ones foot and certainly not a part of the panel under the hood (drivers side, near battery). Could someone help me before this car ends up blown up!?

To left of steering wheel should be the dial to adjust brightness of dash lights, and maybe a coin holder in same compartment. Gently pop it out and you'll have access to area where about 1 inch diameter modular switch is just plugged in under the dash. I have to do this to access my computer code reader connection as well.

I just went through similar problem last month.

Blinkers and flashers don't work on my 2015 Accent where is the relay switch located

Hello. It seems you have a bad flasher or flasher button assembly on your vehicle. I don't know where your relay box is at yet doubt that is the problem. It might be just a simple fuse that 'blew'. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Need a diagram for how to find the flasher in a 1999 dodge stratus..it's not in the fuse boxes

Simple method without mystery:
  1. Turn blinker flashers on;
  2. Listen for clicking;
  3. Find source of clicking. It is the flasher. :)
NOTE: Emergency flashers and blinkers usually use a separate flasher unit, but one is close to the other. If your blinkers do not work but your emergency flashers do, find the emergency flasher unit by finding the source of clicking, then locate the blinker flasher nearby. They will ALWAYS be underneath the dashboard on the driver side.

1998 Dodge Dakota blinkers stop working changed flasher now brake lights, blinkers, and hazard lights will not work.

Follow the flasher wiring to fuse box and locate the fusible link. Looks just like the wire but softer exterior and it's a fuse able wire that can break down. Should be along the driver fender under hood.

Did both lights go out at the same time? And do you have blinkers, and flashers?

Both blinkers don't work but flashers do

There should be a flasher unit on the fuse box under the dash for the turn signals and another behind the dimmer switch for the hazards.
Sometimes one of the flashers is behind the fuse box in the glove compartment if equipped.
Don't be surprised if the flasher is not the problem. Most of the time the problem is the multi-function switch on the column.
There are stories online about using WD40 to take care of the switch problem.

The blinkers only work some of the time. All bulbs are good and the emergency flashers work. I found the flasher for the blinkers, but if it is bad, will the blinkers work some of the time and other times...

you need a signal flasher to correct the problem.flashers will act this way some times when they have an internal problem with the bi-metallic strip that actually completes the circuit and makes the clicking sound.make sure you have found the signal flasher and not the hazard flasher as they look the same.with the hazard flashers on you can see what the signal flasher will look like and it is in the fuse panel.

No blinkers no emergancy flashers 1996 hyundai accent

most cars have a relay located under drivers side dash find it might also be located in a kick panel. it shoul be clicking when the signal is on , there should also be a fuse or fuses .if you need to replace the relay take it with you and make sure its the right one .always check and replace fuses first its cheeper to replace them should there be a short and they blow again . if they do blow you have a short.

Blinkers stoped working

Please check to make sure that it isn't your flasher fuse. You may have the ability to exchange it with your emergency flasher unit. Turn on your emergency flasher to locate where this unit is installed under your dash. Make sure that the e-flasher unit and turn signal unit can be interchanged. If you are confident that they can be switched, go ahead and see if that solves your problem.
