2002 Sebring LXi Convertible Starter Motor Fuse Blown 2x

Starter motor fuse [20 amp] blew & was replaced. Starter worked fine for 3 weeks. Then fuse blew again. Replaced it & it started up immediately. Does this problem indicate starter motor is drawing too much power & needs to be replace?

Starter & other items checked OK, but as it was intermittent problem that was expected. Changed starter & it seems to be working & am hoping that this will take care of it until I get a new car.

I need to know which fuses are which I think I have a blown fuse and I need to check them

Driver's Manual in your glove compartment will tell you what each fuse will handle. Also, visual inspection of fuses will show if one is blown.

Starter solenoid. I don't have the page here but in chiltons a page shows the ignition to fuse to relay to starter and if you look closely it's quite basic. I had same problem with constant fuse blow #8. The solenoid over time wears and sometimes sticks. When it sticks, your system can overload thus burn fuse. I bet you never stalled out while driving, but only when you shut off and start somewhere it's a no go. That's because you're system is already engaged. I had to change starter as solenoid part of it all. I see others suffer this same problem so please share this around. Solenoid can stick for a millisecond.

Likely it does. Put a volt meter across the battery and check volts...should read 12v or better. Then have someone crank it over (pull ecm fuse so it won't start)...If voltage drops below 9.5 starter draw is too high. At this point problem may be intermittent though and may not show up. If wiring is intact and shows no evidence of shorting to ground, It would be a safe bet to change starter.
Don't forget to put ecm fuse back in!!

Honda metropolitan 05 Met II blowing 15 amp fuse

Did the scooter start OK when you first started it after bringing it out of storage, or did you have to use the kick starter? Maybe the battery is faulty and is pulling a lot of power.
Check the charge rate with an ammeter (use a multimeter that can measure 20 Amps DC) and see if the current exceeds the 15A rating of the fuse. If it does, replace the battery.

My 20 amp fuse that starts my 2002 Chrysler sebring LXI keeps blowing

The only load on that fuse is the starter solenoid. If the fuse is blowing, the solenoid is fried. Get a new starter.

My starter 20 amp fuse keeps blowing out in my 2002 Chrysler sebring LXI

There is a short in wiring from battery to starter or starter to ignition switch. Possible problem: STARTER WIRE TOUCHING EXHAUST PIPE OR EXHAUST MANIFOLD.

On my wife's chrysler sebring lxi convertible, build 2002, the airbag (?), horn, cruise control suddanly stopped working. is this a fuse problem or is the controller for these toys broken?

check the fuses but there should also be a relay for these "toys" located either in the fuse box under the dash or in the fuse box in the engine compartment often located near the battery.

Has recently blown inline 15 amp starter motor

Hi
DO NOT put a bigger fuse in ,you need to find out why the fuse blew in the first place,it is unlikely to be the starter motor,it could be a bad connection, the mercedes all have problems with the ignition switch assembly this is more likely.

My fuel/starter fuse has blown twice 20 amp

You have a shorted wiring harness, disconnect the components that the fuse supplies power to one at a time, then when u isolate the wiring to that component look for worn bare wiring that is touching any metal of the chassis. Fuses don't age.
