2009 Honda Accord
I would like to add a 3rd remote to my 2009 Honda Accord
Want to programs the remote key of your Honda cars, then you must reprogram all of the key-less remotes of your Honda Accord once you are in the programming mode. You must complete each step quickly so to prevent the system from exiting the programming mode.
Note: Maximum Three remote transmitters can be programmed.
Make sure all the doors are UNLOCKED before starting this programming procedure.
1. Turn ignition switch to ON (II)
2. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on one of the remotes. (An unprogrammed remote can be used for this step.)
3. Turn ignition switch to ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (O)
4. Turn ignition switch to ON (II)
5. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on one of the remotes.
6. Turn ignition switch to ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (O)
7. Turn ignition switch to ON (II)
8. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on one of the remotes.
9. Turn ignition switch to ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (O)
10. Turn ignition switch to ON (II)
11. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button the same remote. Make sure the power door locks cycle to confirm you are in programming mode.
12.Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on each remote you want to program. Make sure door locks cycle after you push each remote button to confirm system has accepted the remote.

SOURCE: Program a remote key for 03 A6
I have an A4 and did this to re-program my key:
1. used the key to start the car...then turned it off
2. put the key in the driver door (door closed)
3. pressed the lock button on the key fob once
4. turned the key to lock the door.
This is basically the steps in the owners manual, but the car must be started with the key first, and the key must be in the door lock before pressing the lock button.

need an actuator for the driver door need more info go to collisionrepairadvice.com for how to do it yourself
Press the outer 2 buttons untill the bink rate changes then release.
Press the button you want to train at the same time you hold down an unused button on one of your factory GDO remotes, hold untill flash rate changes.
Press learn button on GDO, press the button you just programmed in the Tahoe, should be programmed.
(Info should be in users manual under HomeLink.)
If
the remote s faulty then key fob will not get programmed.
Insert
the key in ignition. Turn the key to on position, and cycle the key three times
off-on-off-on-off-on. Then with the key fob remote select your remote and then
try to operate the vehicle with remote.
These
are just the basic procedure, but sometimes it will not help.
On
that case dealer is the only option.
