Which sound system do you have? The wiring diagrams are many. Did you check voltage at proper fuses, use a test light. Maybe the harness connector at radio is faulty? bbbind.com has free wiring diagrams.
Check with a salvage yard or do a used part search online. Ford doesn't have a complete diagram, it is broken down into sections of the wiring harness. you need the factory wiring diagram booklet, you can often find them on ebay.
