I HAVE A 2004 CLASS C MOTORHOME ON A F-450 CHASSIS. THE A/C ONLY BLOWS THRU DEFROSTER. I REMOVED THE INSIDE "DOG HOUSE" AND FOUND RODENT DROPPINGS. I SEE THE RED VACUUM LINE FROM THE MANIFOLD AND IT LOOKS GOOD TO THE CONNECTOR WHERE IT CHANGES TO BLACK AND GOES DOWN THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RIGHT FENDER. I WANT TO REMOVE THE PASSENGER KICK PANEL AND ASK FOR INSTRUCTIONS. I SEE 2 VACUUM HOSES COMING DOWN UNDER THE DASH, ONE (WHITE)CONNECTED TO THE VACUUM MOTOR AND THE OTHER IS BLACK AND HAS BEEN CHEWED IN TWO. WHERE DOES IT CONNECT TO? i PRESSURIZED THE BLACK VACUUM LINE TI 4PSI AT THE BATTERY AREA CONNECTOR (CHANGES FROM RED TO BLACK) AND CAN'T DETECT ANY FLOW AT THE VACUUM LINE UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE VACUUM LINES (EITHER BLACK OR WHITE. IF I CONNECT A NEW LINE FROM THE RED/BLACK CONNECTOR AND INCLUDE A CANISTER AND CHECK VALVE AM I BYPASSING ANY CONNECTIONS THAT WOULD CONTROL A VACUUM MOTOR THAT MIGHT BE LOCATED NEAR THE ORIGINAL VACUUM CANISTER?

the vacuum canister is located under the battery tray on this model truck, however the most common problem are the vacuum lines that run around the battery box. usually the battry will leak acid at some point in time and create holes in the small hard plastic lines. i would remove the battery and check the vacuum lines first.

1994 chevy p30 motorhome 454 gas where does the engine come out of? Front? Inside ? Underneath?

If it does not have a front radiator support that unbolts and can be removed in the front then you will need to remove it out from the inside dog house cover area. We removed the transmission from the back and slid it out that way. Good luck.

The only part of the motor home that ford provided was the cab and chassis. the 10 didgit in the vin number denotes year of vehicle. the vin on the dr door should match the vin on the dash.
letter b=1981 c=1982 d =83 ect the rest of the motor home is manufactured and installed on the open chassis. I hope this helps

stuck blend air door or actuator. there is a door between your heater core and evaporator which does just that, blends hot and cool air for temperature control.

I know this might sound odd but try replacing the ignition switch. I have a 86 c class e 350 and could not get the front fuel pump to run for the longest time. After changing everything else, I decided to change the ignition switch, and believe it or not the front pump came on and started working the way it is supposed to.

the only way you will know for sure is to try it. chances are it should be ok. depending on how far you plan to travel, you may want to have a front wheel alignment performed WITH the bike on the back, because if the front end moves up slightly it may change your camber / toe, adversely affecting handling and tire wear.

A/c and heater only blows thru defrost and side vents

your a/c and heater blow thru the defrost ( top of dash? ) and the vents. Or defrost/or the vents.? and not on the floor? Well all of these should work. can you hear the motor inside the dash turning to they're perspective spots on the dial the motor pulls a cable and closes or opens appropriate doors as the selector switch is moved. if not the switch may be faulty. and you can get it from a parts store or dealership. CK the parts store's first they will be cheaper and will be able to give you a look at what needs to be done to replace it. But it can be done on most "fine " cars in 20- 30 min with minimal hand tools.
